NON X1 DVR

He, hollo, I have an appointment tommorrow to upgrade to the Xfinity voice remote for two TVs and and new DVR.

My question because I currently have a DVR that mau need to be replaced how can I KEEP my current recorded shows before I have the new one?

Not possible on the old dvrs. Once it leaves your house, they’re gone. You’ll be starting over from scratch with the new equipment, so you May want to jot down the shows you like to record so you can set them up in the X1 dvr

There's a temporary way to transfer them to your pc but no permanent way to save or transfer to new DVR which is beyond unfortunate!
