I recently changed my service. The Comcast representative promised me this would not effect my AnyRoom DVR (after asking him several times). Unfortunately, he was mistaken, and we lost our legacy video AnyRoom DVR. Is there any way I can get it back ? Is there some code Comcast has ?
I now know "Xfinity TV Update: Effective December 20, 2019, AnyRoom DVR Service will no longer be available for new subscriptions. If you currently have AnyRoom DVR Service, you will continue to receive this service until you make a change or you receive further notice." Had I known this, I would never have changed my service.
I am hoping / praying there is some way to get back our AnyRoom DVR service so we can watch DVR recorded shows in our bedroom. The Comcast representative should have told us we would lose the service. Any help in restoring AnyRoom DVR would be greatly appreciated.
