HBO MAX & xfinity Instant TV

I am a prepaid customer and no one there apparently knows the answer to this! I was notified by the app on my Roku that I received from xfinity when I first purchased the prepaid internet and instant TV that come July 31, 2020, HBO GO would no longer work with the device. "Supported Equipment Upgrade" and it provided me a URL that sent me to a page about HBO MAX. I am trying to determine if HBO MAX will be available through instant TV as an add on channel like the regular channel is now. If that is the case, how would I go about accessing it since Roku (at last check) has not come to an agreement with HBO MAX to carry it yet? Can someone please help me with this? I would like to keep enjoying my HBO as it is the only premium channel I will pay for.

Per this first link, you can add premium channels (HBO). HBO would be accessible. Per the second link, you would have access to HBO Max through mobile devices/website. HBO Max isn’t part of Xfinity Stream but the HBO channel itself is.

With 10,000 hours of content, HBO Max is now available to new and existing Xfinity TV customers who subscribe to HBO either a la carte or as part of a package – along with Xfinity Internet customers who subscribe to HBO through Flex. Customers can access HBO Max by signing into the HBO Max app or website with their Xfinity credentials.

HBO GO is being shut down altogether by HBO. HBO Max isn’t a channel that can be added, it’s a streaming service. You’ll need an alternative to Roku to watch it

You didn't answer my question. I understand that HBO GO is going away. I'm trying to find out if after July 31st will there be an option on the prepaid service to purchase HBO max even to access using the xfinity stream app? Or will HBO max the app be the only way to view anything HBO?
