Re: channels dissapearing

That move of TCM to the Sports & Entertainment package happened a while ago.  Must be rolling out to customers on some unknown schedule.

Re: channels dissapearing

I wonder who at Comcast thought that classic movies belonged bundled with a sports package?

Re: channels dissapearing

I never received any sort of message that this channel or any of the other channels that have dissapeard over time. This is absolutely dispicable on the part of Comcast, to charge customers more with their hidden fees and surcharges. MR TURNER himself, offers this channel and all of it's content for free so that people can enjoy the films and documentaries from the past, so that we can get an understanding of how the film industry has evolved over the years. And with me being as old as I am, I love the films of the past and I enjoy them daily. Just be honest about it, we pay enough already! Why can't you remove all the QVC channels and all Comcast employee channels to save some money . we pay to "hold" all these channels in limbo on our plan even though we never use them. Here is another thought, reciently 2 of my boxes were replaced with "HD" boxes, was that a hint that I need to "buy" into the "HD" market?

Re: channels dissapearing

Hi all,

Just to answer a few questions:

1. pachecorichard, the Sports and entertainment package contains both sports and other entertainment channels. Check it out here: https://comca.st/36X8Y81

2. HD boxes are capable of displaying SD and HD content

Re: channels dissapearing

I still fail to see the reasoning behind placing TCM or for that matter CMT in with a sports package, neither of which have nothing to do with sports. Can you explain that to me so I can understand why you must "squeeze" more money from my pocket solely to fulfill your "greed"?

Well, for what it's worth and has been stated repeatedly, the package is SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT, not just sports.  Just have to accept it or make some other choice.
