Why no sound on NBCSN (848) for JUST the Mecum Auctions show still?

This has been happening for a few months.  Sounds is fine on the NBCSN channel (848 here in PA) but when Mecum Aucitons comes on, there is NO SOUND.  I called a buddy who lives 10 miles away, same thing with them.  How can one show on one channel have no sound, and this has been going on for months.  it is NOT with my box or service since it is with other people too.  Is this being worked on???  Kinda stinks trying to watch an auto auction that I may actually be interested in one of the cars,  but cannot hear what they are saying!

Same for me since November
Commercials have sound but not the Mecum Auction
Very very frustrating
Spent one hour on the phone today with Comcast but there was NO change still no sound until Mecum was over at 2pm and basketball came on then sound returned
Only one show continues to have no sound the Mecum Auction
When Mecum plays their own commercials about future auctions next month the sound will come on but then again mute itself as soon as the auction returns to live broadcast
I even recorded the program but it still plays back without sound
What is going on Comcast?

This was happenning to me for at least a month, however, the sound started working properly within the past week or two.

 

I'm only replying to draw attention to this because it was really frustrating and made no sense.

I don't have the answer, and am equally aggravated by this. I did discover a twist to it.  After trying the non HD version on channel 37, it switched automatically to 848.

BUT, I got on laptop and clicked Xfinity streaming and 848 has the audio.  Mecum Auction is the only show that does this , because I watch that channel for other things like hockey.

I agreed with this post previously, and it still happens.  But it happened on a hockey game for me too.  First time it wasn't Mecum.

For months I agreed it was only Mecum, until last week it did it on a hockey game. Just that one time, but Mecum still does it.

Follow up, STILL happening today, 3 months later.  Mecum is on now, channel 848 here in PA, sound is off.  Commercials have sound, but the show has no sound.  This has been going on for almost a year now, ONLY this program on channel 848 in Montgomery County, PA.

I have the same problem,  no sound when Mecum Auctions is on. Live in Montco, Pa. Channel number 848. This has been happening for months. If I watch it through my smart tv I have sound but through cable box no sound.

NBCSN will cease to exist by end of 2021. No idea where the Mecum Auctions will be moving.

I am located in Mt Pleasant, SC and having same problem. I was waiting to talk to a real person tonight about problem. After about 5 mins. they hung up.
