Pay Per View

A couple of months ago I ordered an AEW Pay Per View event and choose the order and record option. We actually were able to watch it live, but had connection issues. We thought it wasn't a big deal because it was recording, but when we went to look for it we couldn't find it. Tried talking to Comcast about it and got no where.

We want to watch a different event tomorrow, but will not be home. If I choose the order and record option will it actually record? Does watching it live stop the recording?
