Fox Sports South (channel 401) Program Guide incorrect

Last pro basketball season I noticed that the program guide for Fox Sports South never showed the ATL Hawks, even though they were on the channel.  I was told my an Xfinity rep that they were having tech difficulties with matching the guide with the programming for the ATL Hawks.  Well 1 year later, and it's the same thing.  When the Hawks are on Fox Sports South, the guide shows programs like Pro Bowling,  Red Bull games, etc., but never the Hawks.  Why can' t the geniuses at Xfinity fix this problem?

Usually that’s blackout related and Fox replaces that programming because of the NBA. Comcast doesn’t control the programming, any comments/concerns should be with Fox Sports South

Could be but the main point was that Comcast doesn’t provide the programming

I disagree. The original poster is obviously getting the "no Hawks" version of Fox Sports South (just as I get the "no Kings" version of Fox Sports California as I live in the Warriors area); whoever is providing the guide to Comcast needs to be informed of this.

@miltonschreiber , what's your ZIP code? Maybe we can figure out which pro teams you should be able to see.

So?  Fox Sports doesn't create the program guide.  comcast should try to keep up.

Networks have to provide updated information, the guide has a 2 week advance view build based on info given

If the guide information is really pre-planned 2 weeks out, how do you explain the fact that they were able to put "impeacment hearings" as an all day item on the guide.

Honestly, comcast should be agile enough to accomodate last minute changes to the program guide.  Anything else is laziness on their part.

Maybe true.  But that doesn't explain the "tech difficulties" in the original post.  And why can't comcast be proactive with sports events and confirm the accuracy of their program guide.  The program guide has many other issues as well.

They were given the information to make the necessary changes. Again, if they information isn’t given, no changes can be made

OOPS - I read the original post backwards. The original poster is getting the version of Fox Sports South that does include Hawks games, but the guide is for the version that does not (presumably for people who live in the Atlanta Braves area but not the Atlanta Hawks area - for example, a lot of Louisiana and Mississippi are in the Braves baseball area but the Hornets NBA area).
