Daytona 500 - wrong channel
When the Daytona 500 was rained out yesterday, it was rescheduled to 1pm Pacific time today on Fox. I wouldn't be home until later, so I went to record it. It wasn't shown on our main Fox station or Fox sports. Then I saw it on our secondary Fox station, and set it to record. I just got home, and it wasn't showing on that station, so I looked around, and it was on the main Fox station after all. Even though it was currently recording, the channel guide still showed it on the secondary station and reguar programming on Fox. You made me miss the first hour and a half of the race.

Blame it on Fox, not Comcast. Fox feeds Comcast, and Comcast can only pass along what they're given.

The problem was caused by owner's of Daytona Speedway and Fox channel. The race ended up being shown on our local FOX channels (live cable or OTA channel). Time for race was given late on Monday. There was no way to notify: cable, local FOX channel, or anyone else before the race. If you did not watch it "live" you were out of luck.
