CNN signal was sporadic and now the channel is unavailable. . Got no help from tech support and refreshing the gateway was of no help. Gonna have to switch providers.

The 03059 is a signal issue error. Channels come in on different frequencies, something at your house is impeding the frequency that CNN comes in on and possibly others that you don’t watch or get. Nothing more than signal issues. Things you can try before getting a tech out, make sure cables are tight, remove any extra unwanted splitters to help the signal. Because of the pandemic, techs won’t be running on single channel troubles, so it’ll be awhile 6 month old dead thread closed
The CNN channel works fine for me here in zip code 05478. I'm sure that if it was being 'blocked' or 'inhibited' we'd see more than one customer reporting it here.
Unless you get a "Not Authorized" style message, then it sounds more like you just have a signal issue affecting the frequency used for CNN. Other channels may be affected, but you may not watch them, so not notice.
Since Comcast seems to pack the same sets of HD's together, and if you are talking about the HD version, try checking: AMC, Disney, Freeform, Golf, Science, Hallmark, HSN, Investigation Discovery.
@suspicious3 As @andyross alluded to, if you’re not getting a channel that you’re supposed to have, there should be an onscreen message. Unless you are using a wireless box, resetting the gateway will have no affect. What equipment do you have?
Try getting CNN on the lowest channel number which would be SD version. That channel should be working. The RF interference usually happens around certain HD channel frequencies.
We're having some trouble on our end. This channel isn't currently available. Please try tuning away from this channel for a few seconds, and then tune back to it. If that doesn't work, please try again in a few minutes."

" when one tries to watch any CNN channel, but Fox works without a problem. Comcast should refund everyone who experienced this issue $15 x 12 months = $180 for breach of contract!
