Did you see it listed on one of your recent statements?
If not; maybe not in your area. Check your future statements to see if it gets listed before August.

Hello XiFi, the link that (ThatDonGuy) shared is a good place to start in reference to this issue. There are talks about ACC network coming to Comcast but we have not finalized any agreements just yet. Thank you for reaching out to us here regarding this concern, if you would like to leave feedback or request this channel to be added to your channel lineup please click on this link.
From what I have been able to dig up, the answer seems to be, "They're still in negotiations." Just what they're negotiating, I don't know, but remember what happened with the Big Ten Network (where it was - and I think still is - available only on the Sports & Entertainment package unless you live in a state with a Big Ten school).

First, I would like to add my request that Comcast include the ACC Network in its lineup.
Second, your website does not make it very easy to make requests like this, or to send a comment like this in an email. So the fact that I took the effort to find this page, and took the time to note my interest in having the ACC Network -- the only time I have ever requested a specific channel from any cable provider -- should indicate the strength of my interest.
You're not alone with that reply. This is the only way I could find to try to get an answer also. I live in a state with an ACC team. I will add, that I do not remember any of this, yes - no - maybe stuff when the SEC Network came about. As for as I know, it's nationwide. My home state also has one of their teams and there was never this kind of drama with that network.... So What Gives ?
We notify customers of any changes to their channel lineup (additions or subtractions) on the last page of your bill prior to the change. We advise regularly checking this last page for any updates and important information about your services.
No, my question was not answered. To repeat the subject matter of this thread... Will xfinity/comcast carry the ACC network when it starts in late August 2019? That is the question.
And the best answer that anybody has is, "Nobody knows yet - not even Comcast."
Hello @Jfsolan, thanks for reaching out and providing us with your feedback about ACC Network. We don't want to lose you as a customer and I will absolutely get your feedback passed along as well. Thank you!
I am concerned about the upcoming acc linear network. If Comcast does not pick this up, they will lose me as a long time customer. I would hate to do this as I am quite sure Comcast is my best option, but I will need this ACC linear network and will not be without it. What is the status? I need to know since August is the startup and I must prepare.
We constantly evaluate content availability for our customers. We can pass along your feedback and note your interest. Thank you.
As mentioned by other posters, I would like to provide my support/request for the ACC Network to be added to the channel lineup once it begins broadcasting in August. I too live in a state with ACC schools - in Florida we actually have 2. We already get the SEC Network in which there is only 1 school in the state. So I am sure there is demand.
And along those lines, I read through the posts where Comcast employees state that they regularly review the programming needs of their community. How do they do that without input from their customers? I think it would be easy to setup a voting page where customers can provide their requests for channels.
Hey All, Thanks for your feedback. I'll send your requests to my leadership.
I want to add my voice in strong support of the request for Comcast to carry the new ACC Network channel starting August 2019. As an alumnus of an ACC school, I place high value on the ability to watch ACC content on the new channel. If Comcast does not carry it, I will need to re-think my commitment as a customer.
Appreciate you all posting your feedback for the ACC Network here. I understand how important this is to everyone, especially ACC alumns. I know I would take any opportunity I had to request my school's sports be broadcasted in my area! Would be pretty cool. I'll forward your requests to my leadership!
The majority of your footprint (SE, Mid-Atlantic, NE) overlaps the ACC market. If you choose not to carry the ACC-Network, then you are surrendering a golden opportunity to reach the people that care about those teams. 9 of the top 18 TV markets (including NYC) and 5 of the top 10 are home areas for ACC teams. This is an easy decision and we know that you will conclude these negotiations and make this happen.
please explain what the EXACT same level of carriage would entail
I fully expect the same carriage of the ACC network that has been provided for the SEC network. EXACTLY the same. Anything less would be an insult and obvious request for people to take their business elsewhere.
Thanks @chrisbooth. I'll go ahead and share your feedback with my leadership.
When will Comcast announce whether you will carry the ACC Network or not? If not, I am moving to another provider.
Thanks for your interest.
This network is not scheduled to be available until August 22, 2019.
Our content and programming teams are in regular contact with ESPN (one of the owners and the distribution arm for this network) on many topics, including this network.
The Comcast programming teams and our local management teams constantly evaluate programming choices and make decisions based on customer interests, costs, channel bandwidth management and contractual obligations.
As with any network contract, we want to come to an agreement that offers the best terms for our customers and our company that keeps both our costs and our customer's monthly costs to a minimum.
Situations may change based on customer demand, channel bandwidth opportunities, business opportunities, costs and contractual obligations. Thanks for your feedback, your passion and your patience. It has been shared with the right teams.
If/when a decision and contract is announced, we will be sure and make that information widely known in many places.
Other providers may have announced that they have a contract to start offering this programming once the channel launches (August 22, 2019). Our teams continue to negotiate.
Thanks for your patience.
