Why have you locked out separate 2.4, 5, 6 wifi control? Please return that.
In a nutshell, please return control back to the user through the web interface and phone APP to turn on/off AND NAME each 2.4, 5 and 6ghz WiFi home network. I don't mind the option to blend them all but seriously? Who future thought this at all? You've made it impossible to set-up millions of 2.4ghz dependant devices easily without buying a different wifi device which is totally unnecessary.
If there is a sure-fire way to do this, please let us all know cause nothing works as claimed on any searches.

They recently updated the gateway's firmware. You may now have to turn on the admin tool access first in the Xfinity App;
https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/admin-tool-access
Open the Xfinity App. (You'll need a working connection for this step;
Go to the WiFi tab.
Select View WiFi equipment and open Advanced Settings.
Select Admin Tool online access.
Slide the toggle button to Allow Admin Tool access (ON).
Select Save.
Then visit http://10.0.0.1 while connected to your WiFi at home.
Username: admin
Password: Check the sticker on the bottom of your Xfinity WiFi Gateway.

They've disabled that in the gateway's admin tool now. You must use the app. See if any of this even works anymore (YMMV);
Good luck !

So assuming Xfinity support reads these, you should fix this.
Assuming they don't read these, they should lol.
