Weak WiFi

We live in a ranch and have never had a problem with the WiFi reach in our bedroom, but now it's constantly dropping out on our devices.  We had a power outage last week, could something have happened to the modem?  Do I need to reboot it?  Do we need a new modem?  Do I now need to spend more money at Comcast for one of the pod extenders?

@TMG211 Thank you for reaching out on the Xfinity Community Forums. I am happy to help you out. I would recommend a full power cycle of the modem. Let us know after a full power cycle of the modem how the connection is doing.

@XfinityJanelle Hello!  I somehow missed your response from 6 days ago :(  When you say a "full power cycle of the modem," do you mean just unplugging and then waiting a few minutes before plugging back in?  Thanks!

Hi there! Yes, that is correct. Please unplug it for at least 30 seconds and plug it back in! Let us know if that helps.
