Unable to connect Echo Dot to Xfinity gateway
Hi! I recently got started with Xfinity and have not been able to connect my Echo Dots to WiFi. Every time I go through setup mode with the Echo Dot, I get stuck at the "Searching for Wifi..." stage in the Alexa app. I've tried everything - restarting my modem, factory resetting the Echo Dots, uninstalling / reinstalling the Alexa app, etc. This seems like a very common issue as of late (post1 post2 post3). Has anyone been able to resolve this issue?

Yes, I have been able to connect all other devices and my speeds are good. I was actually able to resolve this issue via Xfinity customer service yesterday; the representative that I spoke with reset my WiFi Module, which fixed the issue for me. Thanks anyways!

Hello, @user_30e062! Thanks for posting on our Community Forums for assistance with your device connection. I'm sorry to hear your troubleshooting attempts have been unsuccessful. Is this the only device affected at home? Are you able to connect your other devices via Wi-Fi?
