Lag Spikes Impacting Gaming - WinMTR Test Inside
Hello - I’m experiencing some latency issues and ran a session of WinMTR. I used the IP address of a video game (206.16.119.21) and ran the test while I was playing it.
Am I correct in interpreting that the spikes (Wrst) latency are occurring right at my modem? I’ve already tried a number of basic troubleshooting steps with my modem and think it may have to be replaced.
Any assistance anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Greetings @Strithor, we can take a closer look at your network health on our end. We'll determine the next best steps from there! Just send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account. 👍
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it.
