Internet issues

I recently upgraded my connection from the previous 1000mbps download and 20mbss upload. The new speeds are 2000mbs and 300mbps

After running multiple speed tests I'm only getting about 45mps upload. Can you correct this so I get the 300mbps upload that I'm paying for.

this list is not correct. there is no netgear 2500, you can verify that on the netgear homepage. It is actually netgear cm2050V, which I have.

Here's the most current list from their site. It's the same;

As stated the 2050V is still not compatible with the new upload speeds. It was last year but a defect was found and it was removed from the list; https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/your-home-network/faster-internet-speeds-now-available-until-you-backdated-my-modem/65978b4f2e4f0f284530df88?commentId=659a8be32e4f0f2845312956

I haven't seen any info about when or even if a firmware update will be issued to fix the problem.

The screenshot you provided is only the top half of the first list for Next Gent Speed Tier. But the full list on the next page includes the CM2050V which supports voice. https://assets.xfinity.com/assets/dotcom/projects/cix-4997_compatible-devices/2024.09.18%20Full%20List%20of%20Compatible%20Devices.pdf

this list is not correct. there is no netgear 2500 ...

Netgear begs to differ: https://www.netgear.com/home/wifi/modems/cm2500/

The screenshot you provided is only the top half of the first list for Next Gent Speed Tier ...

Realize that although Comcast calls some devices "Compatible" and some "Recommended", for all but a few devices those designations only mean "compatible/recommended for use with their Internet service", and not necessarily approved for the higher upload speeds introduced last year.

The first 11 devices on that PDF are the only retail devices compatible with the higher speeds.

Comcast could make all of this much simpler and clearer, but they have chosen not to do so.
