I can't establish a connection with Moca adapter

I have an Xb7 Modem. My moca adapter is receiving power but its not connecting to the modem. I have no clue what else to do.

Is there a coax cable splitter in between ? If so, it won't work unless the splitter is MoCA compliant.

@EG​ Yes, according to Amazon at least, shown below. I connected the moca filter on it that came with the adapter, to the cable coming in from the junction box.

Seems like the XB7 can be a little dicey with enabling MOCA.

Never said how it was done.  Enable MoCA on gateway, then powercycle one or both perhaps?  They didn't say.  Let the peeps know if you got the method.
