How am I supposed to setup/activate my Now internet router without the app?
My phone can't use the xfinity app. I need to activate my NOW internet. I have the xfinity gateway set up and working fine besides this. When I try calling the numbers that I have found online to do this, I can't get through to anyone that will help me (I can't get through to a human, at all).
From reading the forum, I imagine that one of the lines of the answer will be "To send a direct message, please click on the chat icon in the top-right corner of the screen, and select "Xfinity Support" to initiate a Direct Message.". I don't see a chat icon at the top right corner of my screen. If someone screenshot what this looks like, I'd appreciate it.

Also, a follow up: I figured out how to direct message someone, in principle. But in practice, this website is so buggy that it doesn't work. For example, I want to message XfinityShawn, who I see to be active this week, and have helped with this before (see below)
But when I try to message the person, everyone BESIDES xfinityShawn shows up:

Please also note that sending unsolicited private messages to myself or any other user is a direct violation of our forum guidelines. I do apologize, but the NOW Internet service is outside our scope of support and we do not assist with activation, billing, and troubleshooting of the device. I highly recommend borrowing/getting a device that can support the Xfinity App as that will be the best and only way to manage the device and account.
