Problems with my streaming services

Is anyone else having issues with streaming Xfinity on their laptop? I pay all this money and now I cannot stream on my Macbook or chromebook.

@XfinityBrie Yes. My system meets the requirements.  Interesting that I am able to stream with my Iphone 13 Pro Max running IOS 15.1.  This tells me it may be a problem with Xfinity’s products and the software that is on IMACs and IPADs

I'm having the same issue. It's been working for over a year, then suddenly last week it was randomly not loading, stuck at the "Now Connecting to your entertainment experience". since Monday this week this is all the I ever get. tried on several different computers and browsers on each (Chrome, Firefox, Edge). The Xfinity Streaming App on my iPad does work. Its only the computers that don't

It is just wrong to require specific browsers. I do not care if they personally support and will not assist if I have an issue with my favorite browser that's fine but to specifically force me to use one of 3 browsers is just wrong and when I personally run across these injustices I will eventually figure an alternative.

I have been having the same issue for almost a month now. I usually stream everyday in my office at work, no issues for years, now all of a sudden I can't get it to work at all. It will stream for 10 seconds then freeze and buffer or cut out. I called and chatted with over 10 reps none of them could help, its a pain in the you know what and its a joke. I spend almost 200$ a month and only really stream and now that doesn't work its almost pointless to continue with xfinity

YES! I had this same issue for over a month, but it used to work, and I have the updated iphone APP and my browser meets the standard for the stream website, but I can't go longer than 45 seconds before it cuts out or drops.

Hello! Thank you for letting us know you have had trouble on your browser as well. We are here to help anyone on here with support through our apps and make sure that everything is working well.

Have you tried other browsers with success? Also, have you tried clearing the cache and cookies from your browser to be sure that it has not saved old data making logging in difficult?

Please let us know and we will be glad to find a solution together.

Good morning, @user_391313, and thanks for reaching out through our Forums page for help with the Xfinity Stream app recently. Is there an error code or message you are seeing when this happens, or does it just stop loading? Have you already attempted to remove the app and reinstall it? Are you still able to stream online at https://comca.st/3u75bC2 without issue? -Macey

Same issue with my Mac and Safari 15.  It seems to work on an old Chromebook.  Chatted with someone this morning, but was not able to resolve the issue. Is there a resolution? Thanks!

@fenriquez03 At this time, the suggested workaround is to use a different browser. We are working on a solution to get this issue fixed.

@XfinityTony

I just tried streaming with Firefox. Therefore it appears the problem is with Safari 15.0 and not MAC OS 11.6

Xfinity Streaming is not working on Safari Version 15.  I contacted Xfinity they say it's Apple.  All other streaming services work on Safari just not Xfinity.  I do not think it's Apple.  I spoke to Apple...

The problem is that Xfinity is having a problem with Safari 15.0 which they should fix!  I can stream on my MacBook Pro using Firefox 91.0.1

I also spoke and screen shared with them and was told it is an Xfinity problem.

Good to know b/c Apple isn't having it...macOS Big Sur V11.6  Safari V 15.0. Xfinity Stream does not work.  I am so glad they are being honest with customers now.  I love the service when it works.

I failed to mention this earlier; if I completely log out of Safari on my Mac, then log back using Chrome Xfinity stream works.

Yes, I had this problem.  Based on other users' comments at the Apple support site I isolated the issue to Safari 15.  I fixed this by doing a recovery reboot that restored Big Sur 11.6 but DID NOT install Safari 15.  This takes about 2 hours.  Xfinity TV streaming now works again using Safari.  You can also use the FireFox or Chrome browsers to run Xfinity TV streaming.  I will be living with the red dot on my settings icon prompting me to upgrade to Safari 15 until Apple fixes the bug.  Knowing Apple, it could be a long time.
