Hello user_h6972s is this still an issue on your Samsung Smart TV? The TVAPP-00195 error is more of a general troubleshooting error. A few tips that may help:

1. Sign out of the Xfinity Stream App, then log back in.

2. Delete the Stream App channel, then re-install it. This will require you to sign in again.

3. Perform a Modem Refresh using the Xfinity App. If you have X1 cable boxes, a System refresh on the main cable box is also recommended.

I signed up with Comcast about 2 months ago and I'm having the same issue with the Stream App with all of my Samsung Smart Tvs

user_16c3pf are you able to let us know if the issue is still occurring? If it is, have you tried resetting your modem, and reinstalling the app?

Hey @user_wb1onr, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. We greatly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience regarding the NOW TV service on the Xfinity Stream App. I would be more than happy to offer my assistance looking into this further for you.

I appreciate the details left within your comment regarding the Samsung Television. Currently, NOW TV is not available on Apple TV, LG TV, Roku, or Samsung Smart TV. This may be the reason why you are receiving the error messages.

You can watch NOW TV content through the Xfinity Stream app on the following devices at this time: Xumo Stream Box (leased or purchased), Xumo TV, Xfinity Flex streaming TV Box, Apple or Android mobile devices, FireTV, Chromecast, and Apple AirPlay.

If you have any further questions, we recommend visiting our NOW TV overview support page by Clicking Here.

The Xfinity Stream app will not work on my Samsung TV, and it will not work o my Xumo TV box either. This is ridiculous that I can't watch what I am paying for! Any suggestions? Or should I cancel my Xfinity completely?

Hey there, jglascoe, thanks for reaching out through Xfinity Forums regarding the Xfinity Stream app. I know I love watching the app in my office, and we want to ensure it is working for you. Have you tried any of the troubleshooting options mentioned in this thread? Are you getting the same error message on your TV and Xumo by Xfinity Box?

Do you have NOW TV? This xfinity tv & streaming services doesn’t work with TVs, only tablets, laptops, mobile, etc. See attached photo.

Why doesn’t Xfinity display “Now TV not compatible with televisions” next to the TV Now option on the tv & streaming shop page on the Xfinity website?? XfinityDemitrios stated in his reply above that Samsung smart tvs are the issue but that’s not the case per my post above. This plan isn’t compatible with TVs. Would have been nice to know that ahead of time.

I do apologize for any confusion. You can see all compatible devices for the Xfinity Stream app listed here. However, there are some devices the Xfinity Stream app will only work for Xfinity TV service, and Xfinity Internet. If you have Xfinity Internet, you can get one Xumo streaming box included with your service, so you can access NOW TV from the Xfinity Stream app.
