Xfinity stream stops when IOS 15 installed

I installed IOS 15 and now streaming stops when I lock the phone. It worked very well prior to the update.

After locking my iPhone 12 ,the audio stops. I can restart it by using the iPhone control center and tapping on the Play button. This extra step was not needed in IOS 14. Hopefully Xfinity will eventually fix the problem with an update to the Stream app.

The app will only play sports now and music channels. What happened to the app. Definitely do not like it and won’t use it if continues to not offer all channels when in home.

This app is now broken in iPadOS 15. It stutters, the sound keeps dropping out, It reboots it self. It has become unstable and unusable! Considering the amount I pay each month for Comcast service you would think they could hire programmers who could fix these problems. Please fix this!

Hi @Pf8! We have received several customer responses stating that based on the users' comments at the Apple support site, they isolated the issue to Safari 15. They fixed this by doing a recovery reboot that restored Big Sur 11.6 but DID NOT install Safari 15. Xfinity Streaming is now working again using Safari. We know this is a temporary fix until Apple is able to fix the bug.

I am also not getting any of my subscribed Xfinity Streaming stations since I installed iOs15 on my iPhone. What can I do or what can you do or what can Apple due to fix the problem?

It is not a safari issue. It is an xfinity stream app issue

i can stream in safari. Not in the xfinity app ipad pro ipad os 15.1

amazing that xfinity tech support seems unaware of this

spent an hour on chat and was promised a response

Hello, @Knussba. This has since been reported as a known issue and we've been rolling out a fix. Can you please log out of the app and log back in to see if your channel lineup now is accessible?

Hi, @user_cf838e. I see you are running into some issues on your end as well. Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? Is it only the local channels that are missing, or do you have no content at all?

This started even prior to me upgrading to iOS 15.1 on my iPhone. Wish I could point to when it started failing. Terribly long download times and      Playback issues using xfinity stream app if able to download at home using wifi.  Video freezes midway while audio keeps going. 
Xfintiy Stream app needs to be fixed to work with Apple

I’m having the same issues . Delete the app restart phone and then download app again . Nothing works . Makes no sense it worked fine before this update . I don’t want to cancel but it makes no sense to pay for a service I am not getting .

Everyone with a Apple needs to cancel service, direct tv will take us with open arms- fix the problem xfinity
