Xfinity stream app missing all recordings

I am wondering if xfinity is down or if they have removed access to all the recodrings from the DVR.  In my updated xfinity stream app it states that my recordings file is empty.  When I go to my TV and look at the recordings I have 45 and at 32%.  Even when I log into the website to stream all of the recordings are not showing up.  Note, this is a new issue.  I was able to watch my recordings as of last thursday.  Any advise?  I have already deleted and reloaded the app.  reset my Ipad.  Tried it on the Iphone and on the website.

I am having a similar issue. My app that I use on my phone, my roku tv, and when I go to the xfinity site on Google Chrome asks me to subscribe to channels now that previously did not need a subscription (basic channels). All of my recordings are gone but all of the schedule recordings show up but do not move to the queue to be watched.

I can no longer watch the local news either - I am asked to subscribe to the channel. I went to the Xfinity store yesterday to check out my package and was told I should be able to see these channels because of my basic package. What is going on???

sounds like you are experiencing a different issue, more so, some type of authentication issue.  if you're receiving a subscription error.

I would agree with that if there wasn't a recording even older  that shows up on the Xfinity Stream app as well as my Physical DVR (Iceman Murder Mystery) recorded 12/17/19.

The title: Stay or Sell S1EP2 never showed up on the cloud.  It only shows availale on the DVR itself.  Not sure why it wouldn't be a ailable on the cloud? I would like to be able to download this recording...

what that recorded last year? there may have been a time since that space was needed on the cloud to keep the last 60 hours or so and it was deleted from the cloud DVR (not home DVR).

you posted in a post on the app area of the forum not the streaming website area. your reply is unclear if you are having problems on all the apps/site streaming or just the streaming website using chrome browser?

I’m having this issue today. We have very few recording on the home box. I tried downloading 1 to my iPhone app & it doesn’t appear as a recording on the app.

after you download to your phone go to your saved/downloads.

I can’t download as they don’t appear on the app as recordings. They are on my home box only.

currently the cloud DVR has a 60 hour limit. the home DVR has approximately 150 hour limit. as the cloud DVR becomes full and new recordings are scheduled the older recordings on the cloud DVR are removed. they do not return. the home DVR is unaffected by this process.

I’m sorry I can’t quote your answer rustyben.
My stream app has 6 hours of downloaded programming. My home box doesn’t have more than 25 hours.
Some shows that I have at home aren’t even showing up on the stream app as available to download.

I have noticed this as well. It seems that our friends at xfinity decide when we can no longer have access to certain saved shows on the stream app, even though they're still available on home DVR. I don't think it's a glitch. It happens too frequently. Too bad it's a secret that they can't just explain to us.

Are your recordings set to save for 1 year or as space is needed? Cloud DVR has 60 hours of storage space, your physical DVR has approximately 150 hours give or take.

I just deleted all but 2 of the games.  I also went into the deleted file and permently delted them.  It did not change anything.  No additonal recordings are showing up on the streaming app or on xfinity streaming.

have you recorded something since then? (test by doing a few hot recordings where you tune to a channel on the X1 set top box and press 'record' button. are they recording on the stream app 'live'? can you play them while in process of being recorded on a smart phone/tablet while connected to your own home wifi?

@Rustyben My app will show new recordings, but it won't show anything that's currently on my DVR. I have 60 Dateline episodes on my actual DVR box, but only 1 on my xfinity stream app, under recordings. I can't get the other 59 to show up. I am currently using an iPad Pro 10.5 with the Xfinity Stream App. Is there a way to add those (or some of the) episodes to the cloud manually?

the recordings on the cloud DVR are currently limited to 60 hours where the home DVR can have 150 or more hours. the Cloud DVR records independently of the home DVR and when the cloud DVR needs room it removes the oldest recordings to make room. once removed they don't come back to the cloud DVR. the home DVR, having a much larger capacity, does the same process when space is needed.

Log on to your app click the 3 lines in the top left corner, scroll to the bottom select xfinity stream, scroll to the bottom, double tap the version, click clear device - specific settings. This will log you out and clear everything. When you go to login, if you phone / tablet saves your info like it does mine select sign in as someone else and manualy enter your information.
