Stream app only displaying the TV TO GO channels

I’ve lost all of my local channels from the Stream app on both my IPad and IPhone. The only channels displayed are the TO GO channels. No local programming. I’ve removed and re-added the app with no success.

The Xfintiy Stream app is one of my personal favorite apps and one my family uses often. I can definitely understand wanting access to all the shows you pay for.

When you are accessing your full channel line-up through this app, are you connected to your in-home network?

Yes, both in-home and out of home network. But, all of a sudden, this morning the channels have returned as usual. Both the iPad and IPhone are showing the proper lineup after being out for about a month.

@XfinityDevin​ The same thing is happening to me. I do not believe you or anyone with Comcast has a solution for this or any of the many other problems. This is by far the worst streaming app with tons of problems. Why doesn't Comcast spend the time to fix them? Besides this and many other issues the app locks up continuously. And if you want to blame it on my internet service, no other app that I use locks up, and besides my internet service is with Comcast. Just fix it.......

@XfinityDevin​ Now the app doesn't even act like I have favorite channels and only shows TV Go selections. This is BS. Tell your bosses to fix this......

@XfinityDevin​ Solved...... Comcast did a resfresh on my X1 box. My Firesticks were still only showing TV Go channels so I did a reset on my Firesticks by unplugging and replugging. That worked. Now I have all my channels back. Hope this helps others.

Yes it's just happened to us. I select favorites and select a normal channel but it goes to TV Go channels.

This is the worst Streaming App out there. I doubt Comcast wants it to work because they want you to rent boxes.

I started experiencing the same issue yesterday. A large number of the channels I regularly watch are missing from the grid since they are not "TV Go". Also on the new apple tv app, none of the channels are displayed (not even the TV GO ones) I get a blank list of channels.

Yesterday local channels were showing up, but it wouldn't let me stream. It said I had to subscribe to the channel. Today, only GO channels are displaying. I'm on my home network and streaming through xfinity.com on my laptop.

@user_d89953​ I have the same problem. I’m at home and connected to my home network. Only Togo channels are showing up on xfinity stream on my iPad and iPhone. On my Roku it says I have no channels at all on xfinity stream. Called twice today and could not get it resolved.

Same thing started with me yesterday; first on Roku, then on Apple TV, and then iPad.  No local channels and only ToGo channels listed. Has anyone tried calling Comcast and getting an Account Refresh?  This has worked in the past, and I'm getting ready to call them myself

@majormc​ I called them and they did an account refresh and sent new signals. Now all my channels are back so I suggest you to call them an request the same thing. Good luck!

update: on fire stick I had to remove the app and install it back in order to make it work. iPhone not working even though I uninstalled-installed the app. Mac/PC I did a logout and login back and it worked.

@Amlandaeta​ I uninstalled and reinstalled on my Firestick and nothing changed. Why are we, the customers having to search for solutions. Shouldn't someone from Xfinity be in this discussion?

I am having problems with the stream app I click tv go channels and it shows me different channels than before now I can’t watch channels I used to like TUDN, Fox deportes, and Univisión

My available TV go networks on my iPad and iPhone have drastically decreased as well. But I still get the same number of networks when I watch on my laptop for some reason.

@user_23ece0​ Forgot to update on my post from a month ago.  Called Comcast that day and had them do a "Refresh" on my account.  One hour later I had all my channels back.  This is the second time this has happened, with the first being about two years ago.  Fix was the same both times. I personally think that some tech with nothing else to do during the late night hours says "H-m-m, I wonder what THIS switch does?"
