Stream App Audio Issues

I primarily use the Xfinity stream app through a fire stick.  I am having issues with recorded programs where the audio is out of sync with the video.

Hello, @user_a5f69c! Thank you for reaching out on our Community platform. I'm sorry for the trouble with the Stream app on the fire stick. This would be very frustrating to try to watch a program and the audio not be in sync. Have you tried to remove the app and redownload it? Another thing I recommend is checking if the fire stick needs updating. Here is what I found to see if this helps all your apps on the fire stick. Please let me know if it helps.

 

Update the Software on Your Fire TV
  1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
  2. Select My Fire TV.
  3. Select About.
  4. Select Check for System Update.

I'm very sorry these steps have not worked. Are you able to test the Xfinity Stream app on another device? This is what I would do if I was experiencing this exact issue.

I am using my PC and the audio is not in sync. This is an incompetent issue with Xfinity and their app developers

I agree seems to be a problem with the app developers. The app needs to be fixed. Please provide a date when this issue will be resolved.

Same here, same problem. The audio not syncing makes the recordings unwatchable. Apparently, this problem has been going on for a considerable amount of time. When is this going to be fixed?!?!
