scams
On going scam that Comcast does not address or warn about. The Comcast system is being hacked.
Phone call from Xfinity offering a special 3 year discount if you pay the first six months by Target gift card. Received email and text FROM the Comcast system verifying details and payment of my next months bill from an unidentified bank account.

We didn't provide any information or furnish a gift card but our bill shows it was just paid too, has our account been compromised? We used two step verification and we just changed our account password and removed our credit card info. Anything else to be done here?

I had the same issue with a fraudulent payment posted to my account. Xfinity is now charging me a late fee for an NSF payment even though my account has always been on autopay. They better come clean on this scam or I will have to drop their service as I fear an identity theft. How are they letting this go on for months? Maybe our local news can expose this scam.

They have been warning about the scam for over 9 months now. Where have you been?

I just got a call for this scam as well offering my bill to be slashed by 50% and that Target is sponsoring it, if I pay $600 upfront. Thank you so much for this thread!!
