Xfinity App Hotspot Map shows 'Spectrum Mobile' SSIDs — Expected behavior for Internet-only accounts?
Product Question: In the Xfinity App hotspot map, locations broadcasting the 'Spectrum Mobile' SSID are displayed. As an Xfinity Internet-only customer (non-Xfinity Mobile subscriber), am I eligible to connect to these locations using account credentials, or is the map displaying MVNO partner hotspots that strictly require an active Xfinity Mobile SIM profile?
Others have asked similar questions before:
https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/customer-service/xfinity-hotspot/672e315df31e6a5621a112f1 - This one has what I would describe as a "non-answer" where the official response is just repeating the fact that it's not an xfinity hotspot and then trying to defer to the "ask spectrum" approach. It's like the person answering just ignored the spirit of the question. Then it is also officially claimed that the app will search for ANY hotspot nearby regardless of whether it has anything to do with xfinity, which is untrue.
https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/customer-service/cablewifi-now-spectrumwifi-can-no-longer-connect-with-laptop/60d0e7801a2a9e07d5957bd5 - this one is very old but has a similar type of non-answer answer. Although here you can see proof that this used to work fine when something called "CableWifi" existed.

So if you are an employee who is about to answer me here, please take note of the types of responses that would not really help me.
To elaborate on the fundamental principle here: If the Xfinity App hotspot map shows a hotspot, we MUST work under the assumption that such a hotspot has some type of importance to an xfinity customer and xfinity is purposely showing its existence to customers for some reason that would be of interest to them and related to the fact that they are a customer.
So, what is the purpose of showing them? My guess is it's only for "Xfinity Mobile" phone customers with xfinity SIMs. True?
Note that these Spectrum hotspots are shown in regions where Xfinity has no customers due to not being the current incumbent provider.
Here is a screenshot demonstrating what I am referring to:
