Unable to change WiFi name nad password

Recently we noticed that our WiFi name and password reverted back to factory without our triggering the change. I've since updated the Gateway password but am unable to edit the WiFi name and password in the gateway. Xfinity is requiring the user to use ONLY the Xfi app. However that is not working properly either. I can see the network in the app and can click the edit button in the app but after entering the new name and password, I get a simple message that "something went wrong" with no further details (very unhelpful BTW). When I click "Got it" I find that the network name is still the factory default name as is the password. How do I regain control of my network so that I can rename it and establish a secure and private password?

Hello @avsimms72! Thanks for being an Xfinity customer and taking the time to reach out. Are you still having the same issue? I'm thinking it may be an issue with your User ID are you having any sign in issues anywhere else?

@XfinityAntoine I am able to access our WiFi if using the default SSID and password. I've tried variations of names for our WiFi with no success at renaming it or changing the password. Also, keep in mind I had renamed the WiFi when it was installed and all was fine until 4-5 days ago.

Has there been any resolution to this issue? We are experiencing the exact same issue and would like to get it fixed. Thanks!
