server access denied on xfinity app

I can log in on the pc, but the iphone i get the following message "Access Denied, you dont have permission to access http://login.xfinity.com/login on this server reference #18.2659c817.1772486015.1487376e

ive tried clearing cookies, reinstalling app, clearing all browser histories, no effect

The one time I did get ahold of a real person from xfinity (which is near impossible), They were able to "invite" me into the app manually, but after that session, it reverted back to the same access denied error

what do i do now?

Okay thanks for confirming! You're definitely using a compatible iOS version, so we know that shouldn't be an issue. Do you receive the same message when logging in on both Wi-Fi and cellular connections?

yes i tried both wifi and cellular, same result, however somehow an xfinity tech did successfully "invite" me into the app, but it was only for that session, and it reverted back to access denied

Is there a solution for this yet or not? Mine started today 3/24/26 after updating the app Iphone 16 promax. Access Denied.

They never figured it out, got a new iPhone as well, same problem, they don’t know what they’re doing

nahhhh ive spent too much time on it for no solution, I gave up, and the other guy helping me gave up, just have to log in on the pc

I have the same issue with an iphone 14.  most recent OS. just started this past week.  One day it was fine and the next i cannot use the xfinity app.  I spent 2 hours on Sunday with tech support trying to figure it out and in the end he said "well looks like theres a problem with your phone."

Yeah good luck, they don’t know what they are doing, nobody has solved it and I got tired of back and forth text messages for days on end with no results, it’s like a canned response phone bank tech support only worse, you can’t speak to anyone, Xfinity is good at that, the only way to reach a human on the phone is to select the “ cancel service” option, oh they’ll answer that call like piranha on a steak, otherwise, forget it
