XIOne Freezing 15 seconds into playback

I have an XIOne that will have video freeze after tuning to a channel. Seems to occur on channels 803 thru 810 ( Philadelphia region). If tuning to say 875 it doesn’t freeze. Also occurs on any recordings from this same channels as well.

Hey there @bpgolf ! Sorry to hear that! Is this happening on any other cable boxes or while streaming on a mobile device or computer?

Hi XfinityFrank,

We are only noticing it on our XiOne. We also have Xi6's which don't seem to exhibit this behavior. I was thinking of just replacing the device, but it's odd that it would just start happening on a single device all of a sudden. Wondering if it might be a firmware issue. If you want to pull logs or do real time analysis I am available to do so.

@bpgolf Thanks for that information! Usually when there is an issue with just certain channels in a cluster like that, it is a signal issue of some kind. But if you are not seeing in across the board, it is likely the box itself. We can certainly verify if it has the current firmware and help set up a swap if needed. I would first suggest that you reset the power for that box, but I suspect you may have done that already!
