XiD-P Box
I have a XiD-P box. For the last several years when I would turn on the tv, there would be a picture and then it would disappear. Then I would disconnect the XiD-P power cord from the electric outlet and plug it back on. Then everything would be alright. I thought that it was the old tv causing the problems. Recently, I upgraded to a new tv. I get the same problem. I have tightened the cables.
Is the XiD-P Box defective?

@user_5c883d Thank you for reaching out on the Xfinity Community Forums. We are happy to help you with your cable box. Have you changed out the HDMI cable in an attempt to see if the cable might be defective?
