The reception on the new Xi6 box is absolutely horrible. Network broadcasts that stop and start. Pixilating screen.

My problems began from the beginning when trying to connect for the first time.  The device could not find the" Home" network on my X1 Gateway. Per the set-up instructions, the Gateway was rebooted twice. With a good wait in between. Local PC's cameras all tested and back online etc . before bringing Xi6 back online.  Once a connection was made, a firmware update completed with reboot.  After re-boot, could not find the home network, again. Even had to reset the remote.  Finally, accidently a bit of stability. But fits with stops, starts, pixelating.

Being a network nerd, set up a persistence ping -T to the IP address.  Roundtrip times exceeding 100ms.

My Direct Support experience in short summary, of my attempts to troubleshoot and resolve my connectivity issues. to improve performance.

Me:  So my ping test, show round trip latency back to the router, (Gateway). Can you perform some testing to confirm?

Me: Our home is a 1954, chip and lath with plaster. Lots of walls and definitely not an open floor plan. I have had such excellent service over that past week, please don't end this as a customer service failure.

No testing was performed to my knowledge.  I was urged to spend $119.00 for a Pod.  Oh, and never mind the offer on my phone that says under my current plan, I am eligible for a FREE Pod.  Nope, not going to honor the offer sent to me on my phone, in their app.  Nope, not going to happen in my lifetime.

If I could please get someone to test, inside the Gateway.  Not from the Pole to the Gateway.  Device MAC:  [Edited: "Personal Information"]

Device name: Kitchen TV.

Warmest regards,
