XG1v4-A

A week ago, I called Xfinity and clearly communicated to the representative that I need a 4K XG1v4-A. The representative made me believe that an XG1v4-A 4K cable was going to be shipped to me. Yesterday, I received an XG2v2-P. Is XG2v2-P 4K? Has someone had similar experience where you get sent what you did not request? I called yesterday to request that the correct modem that I requested be sent.

Yes, happened to me, too.  I returned the wrong box and got the right one the second time.

Thank you BIslander. UPS just delivered another cabletv box: Xi6. It is not what I requested. Did you have to escalate to a supervisor? What did you do to get the right XG1v4-A delivered instead of this other devices?

I didn't do anything in particular.  As I recall, it was an ongoing exchange with support thorough this forum and when the wrong box came the first time, I had them order the XG1v4 again.   That was all.

Totally our pleasure @user_f324nr. The difference between the boxes is that the 4K DVR box is set to be the hub,r main box on the account. The wireless 4K boxes are set to be receivers and connect to the main box. I would be happy to get a 4K DVR sent out if you could send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service.

The above link got me to a live chat agent who was able to ship a 4K DVR Box  XG1v4. I have also called Xfinity technical support who also was able to ship the correct 4K DVR Box. Thus, if you are looking for a 4K DVR Box  XG1v4, you can following either route (via link that Marcos sent in this thread) or call "Technical support" at Xfinity.

Works wonderful. I could not be more happier. Only shortcoming is that on cannot record On Demand programs. Thank you for the follow up.
