Xfinity Xumo Box Stuck On Settings, Account Not Linking
Like others with this problem, I recently moved house. I went to power up my Xumo streaming box to watch television, whatever. It was working on the first night, my internet was being funky, but I was still able to watch a couple episodes of True Blood (2/10 wouldn’t recommend) but then my internet went out. I left it alone for a few hours, came back and I can hear The Daily Report playing but I am stuck in a settings screen, only able to tinker settings. I unplugged and plugged Xumo back in, I then noticed an option above the settings homepage to “Link Your Account.” I realized that maybe I missed this step during the move, but was under the impression that just activating the internet would be enough. So I’m going through the steps of the account linking, made it to the data sharing prompt, and no matter what I chose, the system launched me right back to the settings homepage, prompting me to link my account once more. The Daily Report is still going but I can’t watch or listen to anything else. Xfinity please fix this, and I need a credit, Bill, Sookie & Damon Salvatore aren’t going to like this…
