Hi Xfinity Support - I am trying to program (using the onscreen prompts) my XR11 remote to operate both my LG TV and my Onkyo receiver which is attached via a optical cable to the TV. I am finding that only the last device enters actually works. It appears this has been an issue for quite some time per this string - "Xfinity remote won't pair both TV and receiver." 

The "Official Solution," posted five years ago says:

1. Factory Reset your Xfinity remote. Directions can be found here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/remote-xr2-or-xr5-buttons-do-not-work
2. Manually pair your Xfinity remote with audio receivers first
3. Manually pair your Xfinity remote with your TV second

Is this still your current recommendation?  Thanks!
