X1 remote reset every day
2 weeks of resetting my remote every, single day.
Leave X1 box On every day, every day it gets an update and in the morning I get a message that remote not found. This also effects the other boxes in the house until I reset the remote.
I press A/D until remote flashes, then type 981.
Then go through remote setup, sometimes I have to enter my phone number to verify account. After 10 long minutes, the box is back and working.
Replaced and checked cable connections.
Replaced remote batteries.
Next step is to replace remote.
Keep you all posted.

04-01-2023 Follow up,
Replaced the remote on 3-25 had no effect.
On 3-26 Needed to replace the x1 box and yep do the setup yet another time, lol.
But now after a week, knock on wood its working well.
Lessons learned, replace the box every year!

Oh gosh, I'm sorry to hear you're dealing with this- and it sounds kind of annoying. I would recommend replacing the remote ASAP to see if that changes anything. I can mail you one if you want, or you can even swing by the store and pick one up free of charge.

Picked up a new remote on Saturday, paired it to the X1 box. First thing Sunday morning X1 box needed me to run through the setup again Ugh.
So Sunday afternoon took X1 box to the Comcast store, got a replacement Box.

Same problem and then have to log into all the apps again. [Edited: "Language"] Comcast? This should not happen. You are making it easy to take my business elsewhere. Very poor CX!
