x1 audio dropout on new Samsung tv
There are numerous posts about this, but resolution is always in a private DM session, so no-one can see it.
I have new x1 and new samsung 65", direct connect to x1 with 8k cable. With x1 audio configured as dolby or expert, i get random audio dropout for a few seconds, but when x1 audio is configured as stereo, no dropouts, but lower quality audio.
What is the magic resolution?

My X1 system has audio dropout and looses audio in every program on every channel. Always digital audio for 1-2 seconds on all programs through the X1 4K Box. Xfinity service came to my home and looked at the issue but had no solution. Xfinity digital audio does not work. Others nearby have a similar problem. No Fix yet
