Why do they not GET RID of the forced screen saver? Most EVERYONE hates it!!! [Edited]

I was forced to get an X1 box. (Don't get me started on how much I hate this thing)

Only to discover that I can't go away for the weekend and leave to TV on for my pets.

I have to tell my pet sitters to reactivate the bloody TV every time they come over.

The screen saver is [Edited: "Profanity"]!!!! People have been complaining about it from the beginning!! 

This is the nail in the coffin of my being a Comcast customer after 20 years!
