What is X1, what is non-X1?
Do both X1 and non-X1 service still exist? I am trying to find out if it's possible to get set top boxes that do not require wifi.

The Legacy services and boxes have been phased out. So all the new boxes are X1.

X1 Boxes don't require WiFi. Some do, but most still connect to a Coax cable.
