Very slow X1 box response

I’ve read all of several  threads (some closed) and no solution was ever found.
My issue is simple. It takes longer than it should to simply switch channels and an EXTREMELY long time to load or move around in all apps including Netflix, Prime, Peacock to name a few. I had a technician out a month or so ago, and switched out my dvr box, but no improvement. My little WiFi box in bedroom runs great. Fast response time for all apps. I did troubleshoot to see if it was my TV (Samsung Q60AA). Everything was fine. I’ve even hardwired the box and TV. No difference.
Are there any solutions I may have missed?

Thank you for reaching out to us here @tase222. I would be happy to look into any issue with your TV service from here for you. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

Last week, I was informed (on screen) that I needed to upgrade my equipment since one or more of my streaming apps were not supported on the device.  Disney+ comes to mind.  Anyway, I receive the replacement equipment.  First of all, there is no front panel display.  No clock display is annoying since I used that as a clock in my family room.  Anyway, the navigation in the new device is very slow compared to the original device.  Also, I tried watching a 4k video on my 4k TV and the video lagged and stuttered several times, as if it was buffering.  That is unacceptable.  I was a ble to watch the same video via the apps on my TV w/o issue.  No lag, no stutter.  I wanted to use the X1 device so I would not have to switch inputs on my AV device and TV inputs.  Is this the best equipment you have to offer?  Please make it faster and support 4K streaming apps.
