Ultra 4K cable box

how do I get an Xfinity X1 XG1v4 or Xi6 TV Box?  I went to my local Xfinity store today and requested a box with at least 60 htz refresh rate but the box that they gave me was the same model that I already had.  How can I get a true ultra 4k cable box?

Hey @Pearlman83, thank you for reaching out to us on our forums. The XG1v4 and XI6 are currently the only 4k boxes we have available. Due to limited supply, they are not available at the store but I can definitely get you one sent in the mail. Can you private message us so I can better assist? You can send a private message by clicking the "message" icon in the upper right corner of our forum page. Once you click on that, input our shared handle Xfinity Support to send us a private message. [Edited- correcting handle]

@ComcastNicolas I followed your instructions for sending a private message but the handle 'Comcast Business' was not recognized, so I sent the private message directly to you.

@XfinityNicolas  I have the same question as Pearlman83, I think.  I am using 4K HDR10 throughout my video network - Samsung 4K HDR TV, Yamaha AV TSR7810 set to Mode 1, Apple TV 4K+, 4K UHD high speed HDMI cables and cannot get my Xi6 to connect via HDR10.  When I choose Xi6 as the source on my Yamaha AV, I get snow screen and some garbled audio.   I know all the other components work and support 4KHDR 10 since they deliver the video and audio as needed.   Only when I use Xi6 does it have issues.  I have three DVR boxes in my configuration and 4 Xi6 remotes.  I also have 1200 speed internet with my X1 service.  I'm thinking Xi6 doesn't support what i need and the XG1v4 does.  Please help.  Thanks.

Hi, @kobimaru. If you are having service issues, I recommend creating your own thread for troubleshooting purpouses, if just need assistance getting a new box, you can send us a private message. In this thread the OP is needing customer service help getting a new box rather than troubleshooting. Instead of taking over this thread, we'd rather a new thread be created if something else is needed.
