Tv picture and sound glitchy

The tv picture and sound will intermittently cut in and out to the point of making watching almost impossible. Even get the “no single” screen on the tv then all of the sudden it’s back on. Restat/ refresh doesn’t work, all cables are connected properly. Happens on multiple tv witching the house. 
been searching and apparently this is a long standing issue with X1 over the last several years. Anyone know what was done to resolve the issue beside switching to another provider?
