tv outage

Recently Xfinity posted news that maintenance would be done in my area during the night of 9/14. Did someone forget to plug the power cord back in again? I'm an early riser and just spent an hour getting my TV to work. I went through the online process several times, unplugging the power cord, watching the blue lights come and go. Finally, my TV works, both live and DVR. There have been other short-term outages, too. Is anyone evaluating this?

@XfinityAirelle TV reception is going fine NOW.

I see that this forum still has my old Comcast email--to which you responded. I tried to update it, but wasn't able to. [Edited: "Personal Information"] is my new email.

Thanks for getting back to us Athena14, and I am delighted to hear the TV reception is back to normal! Unfortunately, you would not be able to change/update the current email on file for your Xfinity Forums account. If you wanted to utilize a different email, you would have to create a new Xfinity Forums account with that email. We do apologize for any inconvenience or frustration caused by that.
