Tv box says something is not quite right.

The last number of the MAC address does not match what is on the device label. This device worked until I had to change what WiFi network it was on when I purchased extenders from Xfinity store.

I have found that when I returned a defective box along with my old equipment, the store employee scanned the paper shipping box, not the defective tv box. In doing so, she removed the wrong box from my account. The serial number on the return receipt matches the box that I still have. Spent 2 hours on the phone with Comcast trying to get fixed, but the can’t seem to return the correct box and reactivate the box I still have. They are sending a technician tomorrow. I hope that they don’t expect me to pay for the visit to fix their own mistake. I will let you know if the technician can fix the issue or not.

Tech had to swap out the box and deactivate the old returned dvr box. While here, tech also repaired the modem speed by repairing the outside ground buss bar.

They billed me $100.00 for the Tech visit, even though they were fixing a Comcast [Edited: "Language"] up.
