Trouble with x1 service RDK-03033 every day
Xfinity recently made me trade in my non-X1 TV boxes for X1 TV boxes. The first week everything worked fine. Now, several times per day my TV service drops saying “there’s a problem connecting to the internet” RDK-03033. I do not have my internet service through Xfinity….only cable TV service. All cables are tight and no changes have been made since getting my new boxes. Never had this problem with my old boxes. What is going on? So much for this “improvement ?” in my service!!! If it continues, will have no option but to “cut the cable” and take my business elsewhere. Am paying over $250 monthly for this inconsistent and frustrating “non-service”! Also, am not willing for Xfinity to come in my house for a $100 service for their poor exterior cabling. (TV pedestal out back in neighbor’s yard is open/disassembled, exposed to weather.) Any suggestions besides obtaining TV service elsewhere?

I have been waiting to hear good news about the switchover.
I guess I will keep my RNG150N Legacy cable-box and wait.

Was able to watch some of the Mets Phillies game earlier…but of course, my TV has again encountered “some trouble” with error code RDK-03003. None of my SIX TVs are again not working! This is extremely poor service. Have been a customer (to include Xfinity’s predecessors) for over 40 years. I suspect it’s their over burdened system in my neighborhood. Numerous Comcast techs have been by looking at problems neighborhood customers have been having in the past year. Last time they said the local system needs to be looked at by engineering. Too many customers for the existing setup. They had to split cables temporarily for everybody to have service. Said they’d be back to permanently fix. Nobody has ever returned to resolve this very local issue. So much for customer service!!! Ready to cut the cable!!!

Errors magically disappeared and X1 TV service started working! Worked for 10 days with no problems….but now the problem has returned. No TV….”Sorry there seems to be some trouble”. Never had any Xfinity response on this forum. And I pay $252/month for 185 channels I can’t watch! What a bargain!!!…..NOT.

I really don't think they have any good programmers left to fix all the current problems.
