sports app
xfinity, please fix the sports app. for the past two weeks every single time I open it a big message pops up telling me I can set close game alerts. I don't need this popping up every time I open the app.

that might be in the notification settings,
turn off some of those notifications and the pop ups should disappear

I am seeing the same behavior for about the same amount of time (~ 2 weeks).
I have tried the following:
* Restart the cable box
* Turn off "Sports" notifications
* Turn off "All" notifications
* Set a "close game alert" for a game
To be clear, this is what is happening. When you press the "C" button on your voice remote, the "Sports Zone" app appears as expected. But shortly thereafter, you receive an overlay notification with the title "Set close game alerts in the Sports Zone app" and with the body text "Never miss the most exciting moments. Get a notification on your TV screen when the game gets close and the clock is running out - even when you're watching something else." and a button with the label "Got it". When the "Got it" button is selected, the overlay notification is dismissed. Every time you display the "Sports Zone" app thereafter, the same overlay notification appears.
So when does "Got it" *not* mean "Yes, what you just informed me of is understood"?
This is clearly a bug/defect.
Comcast, please issue a fix.

Hello @UNCNU, Thank you for taking the time to leave a post. Sorry to hear that you are having issues with the notifications in the sports app. Have you gone into the settings, preferences, notifications, and then sports to turn the sports notifications off?

I have the same issue. I turned the sports notifications off and still get it.
I also cannot set any favorites in the my teams settings

yeah, it's not a notification issue, but an issue with the sports app.

I have the same exact problem, as well as not having the “My Teams” tab listed anymore. [Edited: Language]!? Every time Xfinity changes something, they ruin it and raise the [Edited: Language] price. Really getting tired of this.

The same annoying issues for me I have tried all suggestions many, many times to no avail clearly a comcast problem. Does anyone at Xfinity/Comcast care, for what I am paying one would think I would get what I am paying for. Not sure Verizon is any better but might be time to switch,

Same problem. From all the posts I've been reading still seems there's no solution. Very frustrating. It has been like this for a week or so. Is anyone even trying to fix it at Comcast?

We all have the same problem! Why they don't just say it's not available anymore!! Tech support has no clue how to fix the issue because they have removed it completely!!! I'm DONE
