RJ45 hard wired ethernet connection on TV Box
Do any of the Xfinity tv boxes have a RJ45 connector for ethernet as an option to WIFI? I can hardwire my smart tv but that doesn't allow me access to DVR recorded content. I'd need this box to also support 4K. None of the below makes any sense to me:
1. The only option for viewing content from Xfinity on a TV is via WIFI.
2. There is no ability view a listing of my equipment on the Xfinity site because my pricing is a residential community bundle.
3. It's almost impossible to find hardware descriptions and specs on the Xfinity site.
4. There is no number to call to get technical information regarding my equipment without suffering thru the call attendant's demands for a system restart.

Hi! I can give you some account specifics and review your equipment with you. But I'll need to help you privately. Can you send a direct message addressed to Xfinity Support with your first & last name and address?

"... send a direct message addressed to Xfinity Support with your first & last name and address?" means, from any forums.xfinity.com page:
• Click "Sign In" if that prompt is visible
• Click the "Direct Messaging" icon
above or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
• On the DM page click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person" but don't do that. It won't work.
Instead, type Xfinity Support there. As you are typing a drop-down list appears.
• Select "Xfinity Support" from the list. An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter or tap the > icon to send it
See https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/email/cant-create-a-new-email-address/605e52b726aa974d63032d02?commentId=606107ea738c7f46a02b830e for an example.
If a circle-slash appears when you try to select the "pencil and paper" icon it means that your DMs are disabled. You'll need to go to your Profile Settings, clear the "Opt Out from Direct Messaging" checkbox, and click Save.
