I switched from my beat up looking XR11 V3 remote to a XR11 V2 remote I had in my drawer but the V2 only turns on/off and changes volume. Why?

I am sorry to hear that you are having issues with your remote, but you have come to the right place for assistance with this issue. The reason that the new remote is not working for anything but the TV function, is because it needs to be programmed to the box. You can find all the steps to take here.
