Remote volume
I have paired my remote and all functions work except for volume and input. When I change the channel there is a green light flash ; when I attempt to change volume or input the light flashes red. If I am close to tv or hold at the right angle I can get it to change but still flashes red. Have attempted to pair several times with same result.

green on the remote means connected to the set top box via RF and communicating. the red LED on remote indicates IR is used (only thing that can be used, line of sight) to the TV and any audio equipment. the 3-number code is the process to connect the remote to the set top box. the next steps connect the remote to the TV then to the sound bar via IR.
