Remote mute button not working

I just picked up a replacement XR15 remote and paired it up my Samsung TV.  Everything works EXCEPT the mute button.  When I press the mute button the tv momentarily mutes and then the sound comes back on.  I have tried repairing the remote without success.

Problem has been resolved.  My sound bar   had not been linked with the remote.

That's awesome to hear, @user_9ce8d3! I know it's not a major thing, but it can be pretty annoying to not have everything set up properly and linked to the one remote. I appreciate you sharing your time with us over the forum. If you should have any other questions or concerns, please feel free to create a new post. Have a great weekend and be safe out there!
