RDK-10000 issue

I got an RDK-10000 error code on all 3 of my TV’s/TV Boxes. Even though the TV wasn’t working the internet/modem still worked. After trying everything suggested by the Xfinity virtual assistant and not resolving the problem I searched the internet for possible solutions. After about 2 dozen posts which suggested doing everything I had already done I found this post from a user named Tek:

https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/x1/getting-error-code-rdk10000-on-our-three-satellite-boxes/6446dd20b9339b2013e93539?commentId=64472ba82715675987843d37

I had to unplug all the TV Boxes, then restart the internet/modem. After that I restarted the main TV Box only and let it fully reload. It was like a new activation. The TV asked for acct info, language, which room the TV was etc. once I went thru the setup process the TV came on. Then I turned on the 2 satellite boxes and both of those TV’s immediately came on.

Hey @user_bl1438, Thank you for visiting our official Xfinity Forums Community support page. It sounds like you were able to get everything back online and working. With the error, RDK-10000, that indicates that the set-top boxes are having issues communicating over the network. That could explain why resetting the main set-top box helped get the other set-top boxes back online again as they each grab a tuner from the main set-top box. We just wanted to check in and see if you were still experiencing issues. Please let us know at your next available convenience.
