pixelation

Some of my channels are pixelated.  I have tried all the suggestions .  Called xfinity -- sent an update to my tv box.  It didn't help. I have scheduled a tech to come out.  Anybody else having this issue-- its only like 5 channels that I can't watch.  Everything was fine yesterday/

Hi, @user_4c76n7! Thanks for reaching out about the pixelated channels. I know you were having a visit. Has the technician been out yet? This is normally a signal issue where we need to make an adjustment at your home or in the area.

We've been having this issue for months. It's only certain channels (ESPN's, FS1, Comedy Central, Animal Planet) and only on one of the five boxes that we have. The answer from tech support usually points the problem back in our direction with fixes including poor WIFI, bad HDMI cable or old TV. Considering we've done everything they've recommended, I'm assuming the problem really exists at the source. Xfinity either needs to replace the box that's connected to the issue or make some adjustments to their equipment accordingly. Next step is YouTube TV. Sorry Xfinity :(

I have had pixelation for years. It seemed to go away last time tech replaced the splitter with amplifier (PPC evo1-9) many years ago. It came back a few months ago without any changes. I Just replaced modem and router. no luck. New X1 4k boxes, no luck. All lines checked and tight. No luck. Replaced splitter, No luck. Installed different amplifier, No luck. I don't have xfinitiy's  modem so it's not that like others suggest. Probably many different reasons pixelation happens. Wireless is the only permanent solution.
